Why does the battery run out quickly?
If the phone starts to run down quickly, the user can configure the device to keep the battery charge as long as possible. We will talk about this in this article.
Often, users do not hesitate to set the high brightness of the display of their device. However, you need to consider the larger it is, the higher the screen’s battery consumption. An acceptable level of brightness is 40-50%. In the latest version of Android, you can adjust the brightness from the curtain.
Many wireless modules activated
If the battery on your phone starts to run out quickly, you may have turned on mobile Internet, bluetooth, Wi-Fi, geolocation detection, and don’t turn it off. These modules are capable of decently landing a battery charge in a short period of time. You can disable them through the menu Settings your device, or through the curtain, which is pulled with a finger from the top of the display.
You can also turn off applications running in the background to increase battery life before charging. To do this, select in the list of applications Active and disable them.
The charge is not displayed correctly
Incorrect calibration is a common reason why a new phone runs out of charge quickly. You need to calibrate the battery of your device, and for this:
- Fully discharge the battery so that the device turns off.
- Next, remove the battery (if possible) for 10 minutes and reinsert it.
- Put the smartphone to charge for 8 hours (this is important).
- After this period of time has passed, you need to remove the smartphone from charging.
- Then you need to remove the battery and wait 10 minutes to insert it back.
- You can start the device, the battery is calibrated.
Power controller is out of order
Rarely, but still the power controller may break down and transmit incorrect readings to the system, thereby not all the charge will be used and the battery will slowly charge. What to do? In this case, you need to bring the smartphone to a service center to repair or replace the chip.
Timely update, unofficial firmware
Often it is after updating the device that the battery starts to discharge quickly. In this case, you should roll back if possible. Still unofficial firmware can also be poorly optimized and consume a lot of charge. Therefore, it is always better to use only stock firmware. In general, we recommend that you always update your device, if possible.
Malicious applications are one of the reasons why the battery runs out, as they work in the background and constantly consume a charge. To check the phone for threats, you need to install the application Dr.Web and check the device to them.
High battery apps
Вы так же можете проверить, какие именно приложения потребляют заряд больше другихand disable them. Зайдите в "Settings" select "Battery" A list of energy consuming applications will be presented below. You can leave them if they are not needed for the system to work correctly, like the application that is presented in the screenshot for an example.
Do not abuse widgets
Widgets installed on the main screen also consume battery power, even if they are off. Therefore, we recommend that you use only those that are really necessary, such as weather and clocks.
Use airplane mode
In those moments when communication is not required, for example, in an airplane or train, you can turn on the mode "In the airplane" . It significantly reduces the charge consumption of your device. You can enable this mode from the curtain by swiping your finger from top to bottom on the smartphone screen.
Power saving mode
To save battery power, you can also turn on "Power saving mode" . This is done in the device’s battery settings.
Live wallpapers and launchers
It is not recommended to use the so-called “live” wallpapers and custom launchers, since they strongly affect the fast discharge of the battery.
Reducing the time before turning off the screen
We advise you to reduce the time the screen turns off so that it does not waste battery power, unless it is really necessary. This is done in the smartphone screen settings.
Mute vibration and sound when pressed
Vibration response and tapping sounds keys also affect battery consumption. Therefore, if you can do without them, we recommend turning them off.
Using two SIM cards
If you use a device with two SIM cards, but use only one of them, we recommend that you turn off the second, unless it is really necessary. To do this, go to Device Settings , раздел SIM cards .
Keep your phone in a cool place
Перегрев АКБ ведет к тому, что она начинает хуже работать. Старайтесь не класть устройство в горячие местаandоставлять на солнце.
Charge level not lower than 30%
Try not to lower the charge of your device below 30%. It is also not recommended to leave the phone overnight for charging. This greatly affects the battery.
Со временем аккумулятор начинает портиться, меньше держать зарядandнагреваться. Аккумуляторы в устройствах INOI имеют гарантийный срок 3 месяца. Если после этого срока с АКБ что-то происходит, рекомендуем Вам заменить его.
Using Original Chargers
Always try to use the original memory for your model. Charging from different manufacturers can only harm the battery of your device.
Reset to factory settings
You can also always return the device to factory settings if many unnecessary applications are installed. How to do this is indicated in our article: How to reset
Remember to backup if necessary.
